Dr. Muran is an Associate Dean and Professor at the Gordon F. Derner School of Psychology, Adelphi University, where he previously served as training director for the doctoral program in clinical psychology. He has published over 160 papers and 10 books, including 'Therapist Performance under Pressure: Negotiating Emotion, Difference and Rupture', with Catherine Eubanks, and 'The Therapeutic Alliance: An Evidence-Based Guide to Practice', with Jacques Barber.
