A Fantastic First Episode!
I just listened to the first episode of "Ben Franklin's World". What a great debut! Ms. Covart is enthusiastic and excited about early American history, and it shows in this first episode. She interviews the Librarian of the Library Company of Philadelphia. As a librarian, I was excited to hear about some of the early history of libraries in America and Franklin's role in shaping the first successful subscription library in the colonies. And to honor Franklin, the podcast will begin with a three-part series on the Library Company. If you have any interest at all in early American history, I highly recommend subscribing to this podcast. And Ms. Covart is highly approachable and excited to get listener feedback, so if you have any ideas for future shows or guests, don't hesitate to email her.Read full review »

Love this podcast. Very informative. Knowledgeable guests. Liz Covart asks questions and allows her guest to finish their point no matter how long it takes, without interrupting them.
