“I really enjoy this podcast. It is meticulously researched and always interesting. The best parts are often the contextual discussions that are not directly about the film. Tom seems very expert on many aspects of film making, Jess has really interesting opinions and John is so fair and thorough in his research/consideration of the films. The only downside is that Jess often subtly picks on, interrupts, or completely dismisses John. In early episodes they make fun of John for talking about lots of different films before saying whether he thinks the academy got it right. It’s that sort of discussion that John is engaging in that makes this podcast interesting.”

“Interesting pod but Jessica Regan is pretty obnoxious, using any opportunity to show her lack of vocab by dropping F bombs in every other sentence. Completely needless. It would be my worst nightmare to be stuck in an enclosed space with such a loud, annoying and self opinionated presence.”
