An all encompassing, friendly, deep dive into the Oscars
From a quirky idea, John Dorney, Jessica Regan and Tom Salinskey have created something really special. Each episode provides a deep dive into a particular year at the Oscars, taking in not just the Best Film winner, but the other films released that year, as well as the wider film and social contexts. It is a fascinating, non elitist, friendly listen.

Interesting pod but Jessica Regan is pretty obnoxious, using any opportunity to show her lack of vocab by dropping F bombs in every other sentence. Completely needless. It would be my worst nightmare to be stuck in an enclosed space with such a loud, annoying and self opinionated presence.
