11/10 recommend
11/10 recommend for any human, but ESPECIALLY T1Ds and humans who love T1Ds. It’s very easy to get busy/distracted in the management of one’s own chronic condition. This podcast lays the facts out in clear, digestible format. Some of these are hard facts our “advocacy” orgs & patient groups don’t want us to know about; hard pills to swallow & all the more reason it’s important they be shared, magnified, proclaimed from the rooftops. Over my 15+ year journey with T1 I have had waves of activism/active awareness, mixed with years of passive just-getting-by. Time & time again, I come back to the reality that nothing is going to change for the greater T1D community unless I, and others, take an active role in shifting the ways things are into the way things should be (ie pushing for #Insulin4All legislation, calling out big pharma, looking at the facts and saying “this is not right” then actually doing something). You don’t need to have T1 to understand the right & wrong in many of these episodes. Dive in! You might face some hard realities, but welcome to life with T1D.

I believe she’s trying to convey that “sometimes things go awry, and you can’t always be perfect”, but it comes across as “I’m always forgetting...Read full review »

I love how authentic this podcast is and how they talk about “real things diabetes.” It’s a great reminder to me of how I’m not alone and that there are others going through some of the same things. This podcast rocks and I encourage all diabetics to check it out!!!!!!
