You can tell that Craig is deliberate when it comes to recording episodes. The interviews and shows are curated in a way that gives voices to the voiceless, brings perspective to topics that are often overlooked, and awareness to real life with diabetes.

11/10 recommend for any human, but ESPECIALLY T1Ds and humans who love T1Ds. It’s very easy to get busy/distracted in the management of one’s own chronic condition. This podcast lays the facts out in clear, digestible format. Some of these are hard facts our “advocacy” orgs & patient groups...Read full review »

As a newly diagnosed type 1 diabetic this has been an amazing resource over the last couple weeks. Craig and Laura are both genuine people that truly care about the diabetes community unlike so many influencers out there. Keep up the good work guys!💪

I really love this podcast. As a type 1 diabetic for 43 years, I wish I had something like this when I was a teen. Craig covers all issues we actually want to talk and hear about and makes sure we understand what is going on in advocacy, big pharmaceutical, and how it directly affects all of us...Read full review »

It is difficult to find a community that values the humanity behind the condition of type-1 diabetes. Beta Cell not only provides real, actionable information but also provides me with the important reminder that humans face challenges similar to my own - that none of us are alone.

Living in a small town in rural Kentucky I don’t have the option to meet other type 1s. I find myself feeling alone, but this podcast makes me feel less alone. Thanks for all y’all do!

These are wonderful, it’s a great way to learn more about t1d and hear relatable stories from other folks with t1d. Highly recommend, I especially love The 3s and Out of Range

I really appreciate how this podcast doesn’t have an agenda (or structure, for that matter). It’s just people, speaking honestly about their experiences and struggles. I feel like I’m right there in their living room, contributing to the conversation. I have listened to many podcasts about...Read full review »

Craig gives listeners a real lifeline in this podcast. Great stories of strong people who are living their best life and tackling type one. I binged a whole bunch just after my diagnosis and it really helped calm me down. Whether you’re the T1 or you’re the parent of one, you’ll get a lot of...Read full review »

I love this podcast. Craig and Laura (on Out is Range) are honest and make me feel not so alone with T1D. Not only that, but Craig takes time to advocate for the T1D community here and on Beta Cell social media. I highly recommend this to anyone living with T1D and even those not living with it.

Found beta cell about six months ago, and it was honestly a breathe of fresh air. As an introvert, I tend to keep a close circle, but none of them are type ones. So stumbling upon beta cell was exactly what I needed. Everything is so honest, and it makes me feel like I’m not alone.

I'm partial to listening to Laura, Craig and James on Out of Range for their honest and brave conversations around the topic of living with T1 diabetes. I'm also impressed by the wide range of satellite shows and topics Craig has created surrounded family and friends of T1d's.Read full review »

I’m really picky with the podcasts I choose to listen to (especially those about Type 1), and I have to say this is my favorite one. It’s entertaining, informative, and sometimes funny. I also really like that the episodes aren’t too long so you don’t have to “commit” to a long episode. I highly...Read full review »

Craig does such a wonderful job interviewing his guests and the podcast itself is so high quality. I love the range of discussions too. I love this podcast because it discusses the whole spectrum of what dealing with T1D is. It is definitely what I listen to when I am feeling overwhelmed with issues none of my family or friends can really relate to. It is very well thought out and I appreciate all the perspective it offers!

This is the best diabetes podcast I’ve listened to. It’s interesting and provides good, accurate information without preaching to a specific type of management style. There are a broad range of topics covered and I always look forward to listening.

Funny. Honest. Entertaining. Relatable. If you or someone you know has T1D, give this podcast a listen. You won’t regret it.

So informative and provides such a different perspective for non-diabetics. Really shows the behind-the-scenes life altering - and potentially terrifying- moments that type 3s don’t always see, or see the emotional impact that these incidents have. Also extremely entertaining and never dull!

I’m listening to episode #016 your worst enemy right now and it’s the best! I just started on the pump about 5 weeks ago and was obsessed with micro bolusing up until this past week (Because my wife was getting upset with me going low). You are not alone! Thank you for this podcast!!!

I love the idea of this show. But I worry that the advice given within, especially by the female co-host, could be received wrong by younger diabetics.
