“I have enjoyed listening to this podcast and was looking forward to an inclusive supportive mom chat, but unfortunately that’s not always the case here. Brittany and Aleen have had some fun and interesting guests as well as some good topics but this is basically just a podcast that aligns with how they are raising their children.
I found it very hurtful for Brittany and Aleen to dismiss World Breast Feeding month as being somehow harmful to mothers or that the week is somehow shaming mothers that don’t exclusively breastfeed. I appreciate your honest stories and experiences but just because something went in a different direction for you two doesn’t mean you should shame other moms for celebrating their achievements. I am proud of both of them for knowing when to stop and do what was best for you and your babies. Please be a bit more considerate of those of us that choose differently and allow us to celebrate without just being told “oh that is so hard” and downplaying issues people struggle with. Consider having an actual IBCLC as a guest on the podcast since you have had The Formula Mom on twice.”

“The first couple episodes seemed a bit disorganized but they’re getting better with helpful, relevant advice for new or soon-to-be moms. However, this podcast hasn’t yet talked about any issues that moms of school-age children would be interested in.”
