I’ve listened to this series through four times and find myself learning new details with each episode. I have particularly been unsettled and hurt by the lies and deceit of the Catholic Church during the legalisation of VAD across Australian state and territory jurisdictions. Andrew and his team...Read full review »

I found this podcast very informative and very well put together I really enjoyed listening and I myself have learnt that assisted dying Isn’t a bad thing and this podcast has also helped many people understand that is not as simple as you would think. Great job Andrew Denton never stop.

Never give up. Your conviction, presentation, of life and death stories are strong, sad and honest. We have a long way to go but we are getting “ somewhere” . In a palliative situation when a patient has had enough that should be respected. One day……

A brilliant podcast & discussion on our right to have control over our departure. I’m a former Registered nurse & have witnessed numerous deaths that made me feel very uncomfortable with our healthcare system & so called palliative care. Take control everyone, or it could be you. Regardless of your stance or knowledge of assisted dying this is essential listening. Andrew put the individuals and families accessing assisted dying at the forefront and emphasized the importance of choice. Very powerful listening.

Andrew, thank you for all you have done so far. I’ve seen many suffer and it’s cruel. You’re such a decent human I wish more were like you

I was really moved by this podcast, even with no personal experience with euthanasia. It’s definitely a topic we need to be talking about a lot more.

Love the podcast - it’s a well overdue exploration of this important topic and very balanced. One message for ‘Dr Kathy’ though, we patients have a name for doctors like you: Heartsink Doctors, because we talk to you for 2 minutes and our hearts begin to sink.

I loved listening to this podcast a few years ago. I always recommend it to friends who are looking for new podcasts to listen to. This series is a long form deep dive into the many perspectives on euthanasia. Should be required listening for everyone. Voluntary Euthanasia, or more accurately the lack there of is destroying lives. Religious madness needs to take a back seat to compassion and decency, and it needs to happen very soon. Every day we wait, is another potential tragedy.

I've been a fan of Denton for years. There's not a lot of topics I agree with him whole heartedly on, but his manner and articulation is so disarming I always appreciate what he has to say. I haven't experienced a loved one dying, and my faith leans me away from assisted dying,...Read full review »
