“I really like Jill. I'd like to give her five stars. But every time I tune in to hear each listeners situation I find that none of them really have any financial worry. for the record I was really fortunate to buy 2 condos near the beach in Santa Cruz 16 years ago. I have a modest amount in investments and I just MIGHT be able to retire next year. even though I've lost so much in the market. So ....I saw today's show "Can I retire at 62?"
It was the perfect topic for me. However if you listen to the caller go on and on about he and his wife's assets, which seem like it would never end, I realized how disingenuous his call was. Please. Cut me a break. Cottages here, cottages there, hundreds of thousands of dollars in various accounts plus pensions, and he's worried about retiring at 62? how could that small amount fit into his scenario meaningfully?
