I have enjoyed listening to quite a few of these episodes but some of them consist of a lot of rumors presented as facts and that is not doing the podcast any favors

Spencer and Andrew have created a great podcast. No better place to go to learn how races were won—and lost—and the good, bad, and in between about the WorldTour.

Great flowing conversation that is constantly relevant and substantive. One of the better cycling pods, especially on Tour discussions.

Climate change is a little more important than the Tour de France, don’t go all Wiggo and deny it. If I bought a gun for someone that they then used to murder an innocent young person, due to my involvement with them: I would seriously consider offing myself. This makes me question the entire...Read full review »

And I appreciate they’re not too afraid to broach the doping topic.

Great conversation between two smart guys. They don’t seem jaded / bored like some of the other cycling podcast hosts. Instead of talking exclusively about the local grapes on the TdF, they focus on the races, teams and racers. I’ve listened to a lot of Tour focused podcasts, and this is my...Read full review »

Spencer is difficult to get a hold of. Podcast is ok and would like to provide feedback but he makes it difficult. Last podcast was awful. Hoping it gets better.

Detailed, insightful, and knowledgeable about not only racing and tactics but also the cycling industry behind the scenes. I listen to a lot of cycling podcasts and this is one of my favorites

I listen to a ton of podcasts and love the tour. This one is great, can’t believe he does it by himself.

There are only so many cycling podcasts so in gaps like before the Tour I listen to some episodes. It’s hard to take him seriously though. He’s mispronounced Wout Van Aerts name for 2 years now. It’s Wout as in out, not Woot like hoot. He’s the most talked about rider in the peloton, if you’re...Read full review »

Incisive, deep analysis of pro bike racing strategies, tactics and finances. A must listen for serious fans of the sport.

Beyond the Peloton always surprises me by looking at professional cycling in new ways. Yeah, his race recaps always include those details that are very interesting, yet easily missed by other news sources. But the real treat is his way of looking at race tactics, team strategy, and the long road....Read full review »

It was great having Nate Wilson on your podcast. He has amazing insights regarding so many things. His discussion of oxygen desaturation made me feel lightheaded. Pure genius. I liked the format. Thanks for the great discussion.

Great opinions and analysis from a different perspective than have been available in the current mainstream cycling reporting and other available podcasts dedicated to cycing. Insightful, well-researched, a great mix of recaps and previews. This is the podcast I didn't know I was missing. ...Read full review »

Beyond the Peloton takes a thoughtful and nuanced approach in this new podcast, which is a pleasure to listen to. He breaks down a complex sport and introduces perspectives that aren’t often discussed in detail, let alone with the great context provided in Beyond the Peloton. This is a must...Read full review »

Spencer Martin is incredible! Always such a nuanced, thorough view of an incredible sport. One episode in, and I’m hooked! Highly recommend if you’re into cycling, or just curious about the cycling world/community.

Got takes and money making tips. What more could you want in a cycling pod? Excited to get Spencer’s weekly breakdown the rest of the summer season.

As a runner-turned-cycling-fan, I appreciate the insider knowledge Spencer provides. His insight is approachable enough for my level of understanding but so juicy that I gotta know more! I also love the snappy quips. Essential listening.

A thoughtful , insightful analysis that goes beyond what happened and drills deeply into the reasons why. This is the kind of reporting and thinking that’s very hard to find.
