“First 4 minutes of episode 1 are as follows. This is a film by Edgar Wright. I didn’t see it until yesterday. I’ve never seen any of his other movies. Except Hot Fuzz which someone forced me to watch because I love action movies, and I was surprised it was a horror movie. Then the other host responds... ‘is it? I only saw some of it’ when they talk about the gore and say ‘this is an Edgar Wright movie apparently this is what to expect’ I had to turn it off.
Why would I listen to these people talk when they clearly have no real familiarity with this film or any of the filmmaker’s other films?
You’d learn more about the screenplay of Shaun of the Dead by watching it on mute.”
