They need to embrace mirrorless ... old fashioned and dare I say snobby?
This has the potential to be a good podcast, but currently falls way short. My main gripe is the adoration of Sony kit. You would think they were the only mirrorless camera manufacturer. I've listened to nearly all their podcasts. And they have a fleeting mention of Fuji mirrorless models, and barely even that for the whole Micro Four Thirds market. They dismiss MFT on its sensor size and repeatedly discuss how everyone wants full frame. Really? One show they do discuss how mirrorless bodies are getting bigger, and how lenses aren't small enough. Please take a closer look at the MFT market! This is true for Sony but not Panasonic and Olympus - comparable lenses are one third size and weight of full frame lenses - forget about the bodies - you only *need* to carry one body. And there's a also a huge range of lenses for MFT - something else they need to consider. Get someone like Gordon Laing from Cameralabs in on a show to "educate" them.I would expect better from a reputable camera store.Read full review »
