Whatever you like, this podcast has got it! Part murder mystery; part reality show; storytelling; easy to listen to; compelling; great score; investigative journalism; royal family gossip; serious research on North Korea? If ANY of that is interesting to you, THIS is a great podcast… whether...Read full review »

This isn’t my typical kind of podcast, so I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it. But it is really fantastic. Not only does it tell the story of Kim Jong-nam, but it provides a lot of context regarding the history of North Korea. I came to better understand why North Korea is the way it is today.

This is a great podcast. If the leader of North Korea did this to his own family, makes you wonder how many people this has happened to that we don’t know about.

Good build up and background given but it’s like the storywriter was planning on a 16 episode series and the beancounters said “wrap it up in 8”. The result is all the meat and potatoes about the assassination was jump dumped on the table and the end with many unanswered questions. The narrator...Read full review »

A wonderful podcast! Very informative with interesting information that I’ve never heard of. I didn’t mind the narrator’s tone or delivery of the podcast like other people have mentioned. I wish it wouldn’t end!

This is a well researched and produced podcast. The subject is interesting as well. However, I believe the podcast is negatively impacted by the narrators delivery as noted in other reviews.

Wonderful storytelling! I’ve learned sooo much! I agree with other reviews in that even if you know nothing about North Korea, this is a great way to get a grasp of it. Well done! AND everything is pronounced correctly! Yay! ;)

Compelling, well-structured, gripping story with expert interviewees. Don’t be put off if you have no context on North Korea — The podcast gives context and is very approachable. Can’t wait for the next episode!

Well put-together podcast! A sensitivity consultant for the text relating to describing fat bodies should be hired. Frequently pointing out people’s builds when it’s not relevant information and using descriptions like “portly”, “pudgy” “[description of fat body], but [positive trait]” are...Read full review »

This podcast is absolutely wild and I’m learning so much. I love the host, and just when I think it can’t be real, the experts verify the stories. It’s truly unbelievable! The story is so well told, too, and I can’t wait for new episodes! How does it end….???

I listened to this for a while but had to turn it off because the narrator’s breathless tone and peculiar emphasis in every sentence was very irritating. Too bad. It’s an interesting subject.

It's as if the writers of "Succession" teamed up with your favorite history professor and made a podcast. It's entertaining and I'm learning a lot! Looking forward to what's next.Read full review »

This could have been so great, and well presented. You have an actual person who is calling and talking to the production team and for some reason the producer though that a voice actor would be better than the original, albeit harder to understand audio? You have literally made this once...Read full review »
