This show only lasted five episodes. I guess big name celebrity doesn’t translate to quality content, no matter how much money you have.

Bill and Rashida have really good chemistry in terms of the way they shift back and forth during the discussion. Rashida asks good questions and shares her insightful views. Bill is very smart, incredibly well read and also reflects a real-world perspective because he’s invested in most of these...Read full review »

I love this show…. I was just getting into it and it disappeared!?

Gates is unbearable at this point and is just a heinous human being. I find Jones wildly attractive but abhor her politics. I’d rather watch frogs copulate than listen to these two globalists yap and laugh awkwardly.

I’m not sure if it’s intentional but Bill’s mindset around rich and poor is very subjective and based on this Western view (whiteness). Some of those “poor” countries don’t need the western technology that clearly isn’t working b/c it’s killing the planet. Many indigenous cultures have systems...Read full review »

These conversations are so surprisingly fun and entertaining, all while helping a layperson understand some of the most pressing issues of our time. Also enticing, is the level of guests that join the conversation. It is a true conversation- where ideas aren’t mulled, questioned, and debated. I...Read full review »

I saw the title of this podcast and wanted to give it a try. I love Rashida Jones she’s talented and brings so much to the table. I started to listen and just could not. As long as Bill Gates is part of this program I won’t be listening to this podcast. I hope Rashida Jones finds another partner...Read full review »

It was obvious from the first episode that one of the main goals of this show was to impact people’s perceptions of Bill Gates and honestly for people like me as much as I adore Rashida she was never going to influence me to to change my mind.

A laughably hollow show hosted by a billionaire who’s solution for the future is to keep socializing risk and incentivizing uncoordinated private profit and an actress who’s been living under a rock for her entire life.

The moderator clearly isn’t a journalist. She spends to much time giggling and ingratiating herself with Bill and the guests. Too bad because Gates, Faucci and Bono have much to share but I couldn’t stand it and had to turn it off.

This is a really great podcast with good, relevant information. It would be a 5 star save for one reason. Bill is almost always very non-partisan and does not blame other for situations we all fin ourselves in. Rasheda, whom I really enjoy as an actress, seem to be bate questions with her own...Read full review »

i don’t really have anything against the podcast i’m just literally so confused as to who thought rashida jones and bill gates would just be great together and talk about “science.” like for real, this is the most random pair of people to be put together for a podcast i have ever seen.

Can we have more, please? I absolutely loved this podcast. Every episode was great. I guess Mr Gates is pretty busy though, so I understand that he may choose to set his focus elsewhere.

This was an excellent collaboration by Bill and Rashida. I personally related to many of the topics discussed and for me the key take away, these are all hot subjects, but this collaboration was not pretentious. Well done and thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Ok
First four episodes were quite good, the last episode was an incredible waste of time. Mostly consisted of four people telling each other how great they are.

Love the quality of guests and Gates’ sage opinions. Could improve via a host that has more intellectual depth to stimulate more of an organic discussion between Gates and the guests than a predetermined Q&A.

Rashida is highly intelligent and her voice is so sultry! Bill, well he’s a huge N.E.R.D. Put together they make something like salted caramel. But when will the next episode come out! Please tell me more episodes are coming!

No Gates, I believe in Adam Smith the same classical liberal ideals that led to the founding of this nation. Episode 4 made me delete this podcast. Eat less meat? Such a simplified answer from two smart people. Eat local, not from feed lots is the right answer. Look up the soil food web and read from there. I was somewhat skeptical that I would learn much from this podcast but I was wrong! What I learned was that people like Jones and Gates have the same concerns that I do. Then they gave me hope about how all of us can have impact in big and small ways.
