This was the most amazing podcast and I am gutted it ended and it needs to come back it was so valid and vital for me during pregnancy and played a role when I was in labour with my rainbow baby. Everyone should listen to this prior to giving birth. But I still want to listen to it and I am...Read full review »

It’s such a shame that she turned out to be a secret cyber bully, I really loved this podcast. I hope another nurse with better intentions can take over with this idea.

Hi Clemmie, I find your podcast absolutely fantastic. I’m pregnant with my second and leading up to delivery I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to your podcast. You’re a natural host, the conversation always flows and seems so natural due to your questioning and comments. Your guests all have...Read full review »

She is a racist. Do not listen.
Lottieh14 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 07/08/20
A racist woman in a position of power and control over women of colour in their most vulnerable state. Another white woman using her privilege to demean, belittle and control the narrative of other black women. Unfortunately she does not reserve her unpleasantness just for black women. She also...Read full review »

As a black listener (before everything came to light) I recommended this podcasts to so many because I felt it gave everyone a voice and platform. But it didn’t.

Whilst I appreciate this podcast for the valuable information it can provide to all woman regardless of race or colour going through pregnancy and childbirth, it has put me off completely listening to anything that she may advise going forward. Before you listen to this podcast you should research this female . She is a racist and very untrustworthy. 😡
cathie mmm via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 01/08/20
I listened to this podcast throughout my pregnancy as it was recommended to me. It was so refreshing to listen to positive birthing stories when everyone around me was telling me their “horror stories”. A must listen for anyone expecting. I loved it. Can’t wait for series 2!

I used to love the podcast. But I just can’t have anything to do with Clemmie Hooper after what she did to people on Instagram. Let’s not support people like that! :(
aaola via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/14/19
I loved this podcast until I found out that Clemmie was running an anonymous instagram account which abused women of colour, including those who had been on her podcast. Shameful. Please don’t endorse a bully.

I absolutely love this podcast! I think Clemmie is an awesome human, I find it fascinating and so interesting listening to all the different scenarios. Cannot wait for series 2!

I love this podcast. Despite all recent events, I think the podcast is still fab and Clemmie is a very educated midwife. I love hearing other people’s birth stories - it makes me wonder what mine will be like when I come to have children. Some may say it’s anxiety inducing, but that’s personal,...Read full review »

I know Clemmie because I follow her husband on Instagram and I love their family! Being pregnant is not always easy and I had a terrible time up til the sixth month. Wonderful insight to the beginnings of motherhood. Very refreshing to hear a midwife point of view and explanation as you go, mixed with the different experiences from different mums. A beautiful forum and could listen to clemmie’s voice all day!

No.
Very disappointed to hear that she is behind a bullying Instagram account specially targeting POC! YUCK. Don’t know why she is allowed to still work?!

I first listened to this podcast when I was about 6 weeks pregnant and at the time found it interesting. But now being further along my pregnancy I've researched and listened to many other podcasts. In light of recent events, this midwife needs to be struck off. She made racist remarks against the same woman (Candice Braithwait) she interviewed for her podcast. Not only did she make racist comments, she did this under a fake user name on a gossip website. Where is a moral compass?!
AvocadoOnToast via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 11/11/19
I can stop listening to this. Shame as it was a good idea, however you are not genuine, you pretend to be woke but it’s a performance. You are a bully and don’t deserve the platform at all. The episode on black women is disturbing knowing what you really think. Shameful

Amazing selection of stories and guests, and sensitively interviewed by a knowledgeable midwife who really knows her stuff

Due to resent events I just can’t listen to this anymore. Extremely disappointed.

This is why black women are 5 times more likely to die in childbirth. Because midwives, like this lady are careless, ruthless and ignorant. Chuck the podcast away!

I love this podcast! I’m pregnant, living in Australia and can’t get enough. I’ve listened to a few on repeat. Still can’t believe this season is over. I’ve laughed and cried while listening. Thanks for getting me through my second pregnancy Clemmie!

Love these conversations celebrating the highs and lows of birth. As an obstetrician, it’s great to hear the human and emotional side of women’s experience. Extremely funny too!

I love listening to this podcast, the women are so open, honest and hilarious when discussing birth. It makes you realise how we may all have different births but we all have the same worries (pooing in birth).
