I listened to Heidi’s podcast leading up to my 5th baby and COMPLETELY credit my amazing birth experience to this podcast, her stories, her advice etc. As a mama who had already been through this several times I STILL learned so, so much about labor, delivery, pregnancy, and beyond. I felt so...Read full review »

I’m due with my third baby in a few weeks and have listened to Heidi’s podcast leading up to all three births. I love her sensitivity to the people around her and the passion she has for her career. My first two were textbook pregnancies and births, but was surprised this time around with a...Read full review »

I’ve enjoyed listening to this podcast. The host seems kind, informative and relatable. However she refers to mothers as “birthing persons” so that’s a hard no for me. Only women have babies and become mothers in the process. We are not “birthing persons.”

I love this podcast so much that I impatiently wait for new episodes to drop every week! Started listening to podcasts when I was pregnant with my second. I love that Heidi teaches from her perspective as a doula while interviewing guests about their birth stories. This would have been such a helpful resource when I was pregnant with my first baby, but I actually used a few of her tips in my labor with my 3rd!

I’ve listened to this podcast for a few years now. For the most part it has good information but the profanity has gotten increasingly worse, which in my opinion is very unprofessional. If you want to raise children who speak respectfully you might not want them around while listening to this...Read full review »

This podcast is done by the titan of birthing babies, and my doula, Heidi! She is hands down the best and a HUGE advocate for women and babies. First of all, I love Heidi’s stance on patient advocacy. The world needs more doulas who will speak out loudly for these mamas! I love hearing the stories, I just wish there were less questioning and commentary throughout. In many of them, the guest is constantly interrupted- Maybe if you save q&a until the end of the actual birth story the stories would have a nicer flow and be more enjoyable to listen to.

This Podcast is very educational and allows each and every one of us to see things from different point of view even during a birth story. Many have similar situations but nobody opens up to tell there’s which in the end might help others who have a similar situation.
