I asked Siri for podcasts featuring Black women who read and was blessed with Black Chick Lit. A bittersweet find because I should be listening to an audiobook but…🤷🏾‍♀️ I can’t resist! Dani and Mollie are fun(ny), insightful and relatable. When I saw there was an older Ice Planet Barbarians...Read full review »

I have a blast listening to these hosts recap the books they choose, and I’ve learned a lot about genres I never considered before (like urban fiction). Very fun to listen to!

I’m late to this party! You ladies made me laughed out loud so many times. I was also commenting out loud about this book. You were so on point, my biggest problem with the book was the Elephant in the room place for conflict... interracial relationship. I feel like they glossed over it SO much!...Read full review »

This podcast is so much fun. Dani and Mollie are funny and insightful. So many podcasts discuss books but don't offer anything concrete. I want to know what you thought of the book! Dani and Mollie will tell you what they thought--good and bad--and tell it hilariously. They deal with the...Read full review »

Lost me when they misquoted UAE for Saudi Arabia in My Sister the Serial Killer. Could be more enjoyable if there’s much less banter in the beginning and a more structured way to discuss the books...

I will listen to just about any podcast that talks about books but the beauty of this podcast is the hosts. I wouldn't care if they didn't even talk about books, I just want to listen to them talk. They're funny. They offer a perspective I don't normally hear in the book world....Read full review »

A podcast that reviews both Toni Morrison and Samantha Irby, AND takes side swipes at politics and culture? Yes PLEASE.

I can’t recall how I came across the podcast but I’m glad I did. I attempted to read this book a while back. I had put it down and have yet to pick it back up. I’m so happy to find a podcast such as this. We need more positive representation. There are a lot of black women who read and discuss...Read full review »

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve either tried to respond out loud or laughed out loud while listening to this podcast, which shows you how into it I am. Great book topics and the hosts have great chemistry which makes the time fly when you’re listening.

I love this podcast! I felt like I was listening to girlfriends talk. I was laughing up a storm while hearing them discuss their stories. I am ecstatic that this is for black Women and other women of color.

I am loving this podcast. It is much needed and much enjoyed. Far too many podcasts, including some of my favorites, are hosted by white guys. Sooo many white guys--hey, boo-boo Phoebe Robinson. Anyway, it's a pleasure to hear a podcast with two women of color talking about books and reading,...Read full review »
