Good introduction to often forgotten stories
I like that the show highlights cases and stories of Black and Brown women and is shining a light on such cases. There was definitely a void in the audio space for such stories. However, the investigative aspect and research of the cases is lacking and the host definitely speaks from a slanted perspective without any research to really support her opinions. The tone of the host’s voice is great (calming) but her speaking style is a little disjointed with tons of unnecessary pauses or emphasis that don’t really make sense (grammar could use some work as well). Otherwise I would suggest a listen to the podcast as a base to learn about these often forgotten stories but seek actual factual information from other sources.
