Sad.
My sister lived through domestic violence. When she finally left, her husband died by suicide. I was young and naive at the time when my dad said we were lucky that her husband didn’t kill my sister first and then himself. The thought never crossed my mind. Later I asked my sister why she didn’t just leave her husband. Wrong question. Boy was I stupid! Thank you for making a podcast that brings awareness and insight about domestic abuse and violence so that others won’t be as naive and dumb to the facts as I was. My sister lived…she’s a lucky one! I hope your work leads to more life’s lived!
