Funny, smart and sane
I learned a long time ago that emotions are important in life, but they serve no useful purpose in trying to understand important topics that affect all us. In healthy dialogue, if the point is to learn from one another we have to put aside our own needs to be understood (e.g. “hey look how special I am”) while seeking to understand others by listening, and then we can find the truth; many times common ground. Engaging in rational conversation without irrational emotions serves us well. This podcast embodies this belief I have and does so with intelligence and humor. I look forward to every episode. Highly recommend!
