“This show has great potential but please, I beg the hosts to stop wasting time talking about their own lives at the start of each episode. Anyone listening is here for interesting stories about conflicts, and I can’t stress enough how deeply boring it is to listen to 10+ minutes of idle chitchat about needing to get your wifi fixed, or doing home repairs, or going mattress shopping. I don’t know if you’re trying to build a parasocial following or something but please reflect on how offputting the staggering mundanity of your opening segment is. It’s a pain to try and fast forward to the actual content while listening in the car, and I’m about to stop listening altogether.”
