There is no moral equivalence and it’s too easy to comment from the luxury of a safe American cafe without any understanding of the long and deep cultural context of genuine existential threats or of the actual law-abiding efforts of the IDF. Jesse and Katie alas embody all the worst ticks of progressive young Americans who are sadly clueless and utterly unable to discern which sources can help them understand.”
