Everything about this podcast is great (except for the fact that these terrible crimes were committed against real people!). Well researched and narrated.

I always love learning about Canada and Canada’s past as I am American. Eve does a wonderful job narrating each episode and gives detailed information and even throws in where or what the place is now vs what it was back then. Can’t wait for more episodes.

Seems disingenuous. The only review shown is a single 5 star rating... going to pass because of this

These podcasts are a must listen for true crime fans. If you’re a Vancouver native they’re even more interesting as Eve explores Vancouver’s not so pretty underbelly. I thoroughly enjoyed every episode and look forward to more

So far I’m about half way through the episodes and I’m hooked. This is the first review I’ve written for a podcast because I feel like there aren’t enough reviews. I really enjoy how professionally told all the stories are and they are of course very well written. Eve(the host) has a very...Read full review »

I am really enjoying the way this story is told, and can’t wait for the next episode. Eve has a very engaging way of telling the facts.

One of the 2 or 3 best true crime podcasts. Very professionally presented by an established author who knows her subject well, and speaks just as well as she writes. She situates them very well in their social and historical context, in southwestern British Columbia. Highly perceptive...Read full review »

Eve Lazarus provides a glimpse into the darker side of Vancouver’s history. She expertly places murders in their context, layered under police corruption and social biases. This podcast is a great companion to her books!

It’s amazing what has happened before, on the very ground you stand on. Eve Lazarus brings a great storytelling skill with an investigator’s eye to the criminal history of a place we who live here thought we knew. Each story I have heard thus far has inspired me to visit the scenes and do...Read full review »

This is great. I’m not one for too much exposition. I like when the host sort of gets to the point. And she sure does! I certainly get a picture of the scenes and timeline. I’m hooked!
