Goodbye, Bloomberg!
A three minute excerpt of a segment, that cuts off just in time to ask for a subscription to a podcast service? For something that's free on the radio - and to line the pockets of one of America's richest (multi-billionaire) men (who just had to be mayor of NYC along with king of everything else, for his ego's sake)? What are you, crazy? Goodbye, Bloomberg; goodbye Ken Pruitt and Tom Keene. Pay for this content? For a radio excerpt that's thrown onto iTunes randomly, with no special production merit that justifies any extra cost? Forget it. This whole was-free, now-is-paid trend will fall flat, just like NY Times "Select" (i.e. most of us "selected" not to pay). Show me your ads, fine, play a 15 second bit of one before the podcast, fine, but ask me for money on top of that? C'mon, Michael Bloomberg.Read full review »

There is a Bloomberg radio app that is updated (most of the time). They call it a podcast but iTunes does not have updated episodes.
