“I've got a bunch of board game podcasts piling up in my "unlistened" queue as I binge on the board game barrage back catalog. The hosts have a nice chemistry and appear to possess significant board game experience. They consistently maintain a compelling balance of anecdote and analysis while avoiding fanboy hyperbole and grognard obsessiveness.
There are a couple of things that threaten to get annoying, but it could be because I've listened to so many successive episodes. The whole "Vote for Team Mark/Neilan/Kalen" bit is not very interesting to me and some of the callbacks (i.e. "Biblios, the best game evar") seem like lazy, insider jokes designed to make listeners feel like their part of the BGB club.
