Amazing content . Vulnerability . Realness. Our youth needs to hear these stories and know they are not alone in their struggles and changes. Such a taboo topic shared in such an authentic way.

What a brilliant way to spend an hour, I love the exchange between the pair of you - like it was a proper chat, we were the lucky ones who were allowed to eavesdrop on a couple of supercool and wise beings. THANK YOU ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Excellent educational content delivered in an informal and thoughtful conversation. Nia has a warm and open interview style that invites her guests to share their most vulnerable, and often traumatic, stories in a healthy/affirming way. This is such a powerful platform that inherently challenges...Read full review »

Nia Patterson and her guests do the wonderful work of building a bridge for people who don’t have access to diet deniers or antiracists in their local lives. Genuine conversations like the ones on the Body Trauma pod are the best tools we have to elevate and educate each other right now.

This fills that empty spot so that women can speak about body trauma (internal and external) and begin and continue healing

Just finished episode 2 and I’m loving these conversations. Nia is a fantastic listener, in this 2nd episode she allows her guest to speak really beautifully and what we then get to share in is magic and a privilege. I’m a white Australian counsellor (narrative therapist) and also a fat woman...Read full review »

It brings up so much emotion for so many different reasons. It pushes me to see their perspective of others while also...Read full review »

I’m a therapist and I already love this podcast. We can talk about techniques all day but we often miss the ongoing trauma of having a marginalized identity in my circles. I greatly appreciate Nia and her guests putting in the emotional, physical, mental and spiritual energy to make this...Read full review »

Nia does an amazing job of trigger warnings and being sensitive while also supporting the guests in being as open and vulnerable as they are willing to be. If you have had trauma you might be tempted to avoid such a topic so close to home, however I’ve found it to be extremely validating and...Read full review »
