Stop interrupting!
While I mostly enjoy the podcast I often find myself getting annoyed with the "politics" that is frequently discussed, and when they are discussed, they are discussed AT LENGTH, and sometimes over multiple podcast. I agree with the other reviewer "DuffDuncs" when he said that they can come across 'holier than thou' and can alienate listeners by making them feel disapproved off. Also they interrupt each other frequently (normaly Jeff interrupting Rebecca) which I find rude and annoying when I don't get to hear the end of a sentence I was interested in. At the end of the day I listen because I love books and I love reading, and I continue to listen to hear about books that are up and coming. But I will always skip the discussions about diversity, publisher/retailer issues and other rants.Read full review »
