Turkish delight? Nah...Bookish Delight!
As a bibliophile and bookshop owner I've grown accustomed to, what we call, a Book Touchdown. The mental aha moment when anything of the bookish realm comes across your path, a victory dance is also quite appropriate ;). The exact moment I heard BookRiot was starting their own podcast was very much a Book Touchdown moment. I'm always looking for the perfect leisurely listen about my favorite topic. While I have listened to, and could recommend, other bookish Podcasts, BookRiots' will out book them every time. I appreciate the old friend feel when I sit down to listen. I can listen to, and have, several episodes in a row and not grow tired of Rebecca and Jeff's lively chatter of the book world. I'm kept up-to-date and find note taking of some sort is a must as I listen. I'm not always on board with the opinions presented, but as with the best of conversations, it keeps you learning and thinking to hear the views of others. Rebecca and Jeff do a great job tackling topics from many angles and offer insight I wouldn't have thought of on my own. I hope this Podcast is around for a long time. You are missing out if you haven't indulged in this bookish delight!Read full review »

This is one of those podcasts that talks a lot about the kind of books I DON'T usually read. And that's why I like it. :) I like that the hosts are smart and opinionated. Great work, guys, and thanks.Read full review »

This podcast covers a wide range of books and topics. These two have lots to talk about…sometimes a bit too much. I wish these episodes were a little bit shorter or that they were segmented so that you could listen to the topics in which you were most interested. That said, I think Jeff and...Read full review »
