“If I could only listen to one author-interview show for the rest of my life, it would be this one. Michael Silverblatt is incredibly well-read and such a close and thoughtful reader that listening to this show is an education in itself (especially compared with other shows which focus more on the sales or popularity of the books, or assume their audiences can't think for themselves). This show has led me to many a book I would never have noticed otherwise, and given deeper insights into many I had previously read and loved. Even when the author is someone I've never heard of, I know that I can listen to the show and be entertained and educated; it is always a half-hour well spent.”Read full review »
