Love the history!
My great grandparents dirt farm was in Stanton, TX and in the 1930’s my GG father died suddenly leaving 4 kids and a wife behind. Life was hard there for them. Thankfully Oil happened in the 1940’s my GGrandmother struck oil on her farm and was able to spend her older years comfortable and happy. The family still hold oil and mineral rights to this day on the farm. I’m so removed from this history and learning so much about the area where my family comes from. Thanks so much!
