“i’m from Fort Stockton Texas and I cannot wait to hear the rest of this season because this really hits home, I loved listening to things i’ve grown up around my whole life. my dad has been working in the oilfield for 25 years and love hearing his stories, even the one about the tip of his finger getting cut off! been to Midland and Odessa hundreds of times and all surrounding towns for highschool sport games and just field trips. west texas and the permian basin definitely has and will always have a special place in my heart❤️”

“I grew up in Midland, Tx. When I would drive into town with someone new to the area, they would catch a whiff of the raw crude oil smell and ask, ‘What is that smell?’ I would always reply... ‘That’s the smell of money.’ This podcast is so familiar to me. Great job!”
