Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast!  Season 8, where 5th Edition D&D meets SCP! Before Site 69 can do anything with the information they picked up from The Liar’s Cradle, there is an emergency that requires the SCP Foundation’s attention. SCP-1983, otherwise known as the “Doorway to Nowhere” is under foundation observation. A researcher, without permission, ventured inside.  He is very important to the Foundation, so they’re dispatching more MTF from the squad “The Choir Boys.” Each of these members is devout in their belief. What those beliefs are, is up to the member. As long as they believe it, that’s all that matters. The reason for that is because there are shadowy creatures within SCP-1983 that steal the hearts of the living. The only way to dispatch them is with silver bullets accompanied by a sincere prayer.  SCP-1983 is a farmhouse, the front door of which is a doorway to another dimension. The shadow creatures emerge from the doorway and return once they have collected a heart. No team ever sent inside has come back. Who are these “Choir Boys” and what do they believe in?
