I miss the old Boxcutters. There seems too much chit chat about non-tv related issues on the new Boxcutters, and far too much superfluous nonsense. I think that when the hosts review a show, or talk directly about television, the show shines and I really enjoy it. However, the addition of...Read full review »

I was a little worried that a large scale change of presenters would affect the feel of the podcast, but most of the things that made me listen in the first place are still there, and the more equal gender ratio adds a bit more balance.

The sign of a good podcast is when it tackles a topic you're interested in and covers it well. The sign of a GREAT podcast is when it tackles a topic you couldn't care less about, and still makes it essential listening. I couldn't care less about any form of reality TV and usually stop paying...Read full review »

They seem to be able to review any show and make it amusing. It doesn't matter whether the show is good or bad it is just good to hear Josh with his manly voice ;-)

Exceptionally well made, informative and fun. If you only listen to one podcast, it should be Boxcutters.

I love this podcast. I commute for 3-plus hours a day and this program keeps me entertained all the way. I have also had a life-long love afair with TV and have sometimes felt a bit embarrassed about that, so it's great to listen to smart, funny people who love it as much as I do. Keep up the...Read full review »

It's about TV. This has been going for a while now, and it is always entertaining. The news, opinions, features and interviews are all interesting and helpful, the presenters are fantastic as are the guests. 'What to watch', always gives me suggestions to some gem hidden in the schedule which...Read full review »

They didn't like Game of Thrones. Apparently it's misogynist and shallow. Given the final scene in the series a very shallow and misguided appraisal. INEPT and not funny!

Even though Boxcutters is released early in the week, I wait to listen to it until Friday afternoon as a special treat. It never fails to be sweet and satisfying! Good work, team.

They told me to give them a five star review on iTunes so I did ... and they deserve it! Entertaining, usually well-researched and funny. They have a great number of guest co-hosts that are interesting to listen to as well as their regular ones. The calibre of special guest interviewee is...Read full review »

Consistently amusing, with great information on TV. I've gotten the heads-up on so many excellent shows I would have otherwise missed. The production values are also amazingly high for an after-hours labour of love. Even if you're not from Australia and not that into TV this podcast is well...Read full review »

It's a pretty good podcast although Josh, John and Brett tend to get easily sidetracked and waffle on WAY too much. Sadly it's nowhere near as good as it used to be without Nelly.

Discovered this podcast only recently and I now spend way too much time attached to my mp3 catching u p on the "back catalogue".

Brett dared me too. This is great, although Nelly is no longer a part of the team (but downloading last years ep's will get her for you) they are clever and the show is fun and interesting. They work hard and the Trotter's segment is well worth the price of admission.

This is hands-down the best podcast about TV ever made. In fact, it's the best commentary on TV ever made for any medium. But this is not surprising, as it's the best podcast ever made about any topic. Even if you don't watch TV much it is fun listening. Professionally produced (without being...Read full review »

A great television news and review show that takes the time to think about why things work or don't work. Mixed in are a variety of interviews with various television notables about their craft and their passions. It's a mark of how great this podcast is that I will miss out on TV shows that I'd...Read full review »

This is my favorite podcast. Although this is an Australian tv podcast and I am an American I often hear US tv news here first. The hosts have a great rapport and are very witty and sophisticated. Although the Australian tv seems to have a lot of tv hosts, that of course I don't know, it doesn't...Read full review »

Boxcutters is a well rounded podcast which focuses primarily on television. The boxcutters crew are well-informed and quite knowledgeable of all things television. The podcast is produced quite well and is always informative yet entertaining at the same time.

only learning of this podcast at the start of the year I have to say It's my fav! The format is great and is great for those heavily into all things TV and even those who just want to know what's going on in TV atm. But I always get a little excited on the day a new episode comes out!

The only podcast I bother with - the Boxcutters get it bang on everytime with their witty reviews & opinions regarding what's right & what's really, really wrong with TV. I've lived without a TV for about 4 years now, but I also work in media, so it's really important for me to know what's happening "on the box" as it defines so much of our popular culture. I find the Boxcutters weekly podcast perfect for keeping me abreast of what's happening, most importantly...Read full review »

Insightful. Informative. Funny. If you love TV - GOOD TV - then this is rewarding listening. Lots of rants, raves and cutting comments. These guys are passionate and clued up about all things telly. Their witty banter never fails to make me laugh. I get my TV-talk fix with a smile.

Josh Kinal IS Ricky Gervais ... Ross McQueen IS Steve Merchant ... and Brett Cropley continues to be Karl Pilkington. 'Nuff said. Listen to 'em NOW! (it's bursting with strangely compelling content, so totally APT)

This is easily my favourite podcast with Stuck in the 80s running a close second. I love the insight and gossip as well as the humour between the guys. I flip between wanting it to be a real radio show so that it gets the audience it deserves and loving the convenience of it being a podcast.

Ok, I'll admit to not being a huge TV fan, so some of the info isn't of any real interest to me, HOWEVER, the delivery, opinions and banter from the 3 guys is awesome, and has me hanging out for the next ep! This is fantastic listening. (5 KAKs :)
