“Sunday Puncher frequently presents an alternative take to other boxing pods, particularly in regard to dispelling narratives pushed by promoters and their closely aligned writers that other pods seem to just unquestioningly accept. The guys on the pod have a good diversity of backgrounds and perspectives and that often leads to differing opinions and any given fight or situation being discussed from different angles like business considerations, legal issues, matchmaking, entertainment value, etc. They also have a Patreon podcast you can subscribe to that has a mix of more in-depth analysis and comedic relief and the Patreon subscription also gives you access to a private Discord channel where an eclectic mix of boxing nerds and miscreants commingle with the creators of the podcast discussing boxing in more detail than what you see on social media. All in all, I enjoy the content created by Sunday Puncher and the podcast in particular is good for listening to while I’m driving in the car or having intimate moments with my wife.”
