Boxing by Sunday Puncher
Overall, they are excellent. Led by Angelo and with a rotating supporting cast of Tom, Fred and a few others, they delve into all aspects of current state of boxing. It is like being in their living room as they jab back and forth and argue their points of view. Also have an outsiders take and frequently make fun of establishment writers. I have listened for the past couple of years but have been a strong boxing fan for last 50 years. What I like is their obsession and appreciation for the sport. Since they are younger probably in their 30’s, I do miss some historical context to fighters more than 15 years ago. The other day, Tom made an attempt talking about Duran and Hagler. Tom is generally very knowledgeable and his takes I agree with, but it was evident he wasn’t that familiar with the fight. Most glaring were his comments that the scorecard was lopsided. It was extremely close and if Duran won the last round, he could have won the fight. All in all, their observations on the current state of boxing and their humor keep me listening. I really enjoy the podcast.

All the good guests no longer appear and we’re left with Tom who answers a yes/no question with a pointless 15 minute monologue and whiny Fred who seems more interested in complaining about writers and twitter...Read full review »

Simon has amazing analysis and is great at predicting. The host has some pretty bad biases and puts his blinders on to facts that don't work with his opinion.Read full review »
