Wonderful and much-needed science podcast
The issues Dr. Campbell raises in this podcast are so provocative and interesting, and should be required listening for all owners of brains. Science truly meets philosophy here. The field of neurobiology is exploding right now with so much information (and that information is so central to our understanding of ourselves) that it's difficult to keep up, but Dr Campbell is giving it her best go -- and helping the rest of us follow along. I recently signed up for "Brain Science" and as I've been listening through I can tell how much she's improved. Her interviews are especially fun to listen to. She's getting a better sense of delivery; she doesn't have a radio voice and earlier podcasts suffered a little from this; she's learning to modulate her voice better. I'm not a scientist but I find the topics accessible and compelling. I especially recommend "Did My Neurons Make Me Do It" and the one on "Being Certain." Thank you Dr. Campbell!Read full review »

I studied in neuropsychology and find this podcast throughly thought out and extremely helpful. I like the idea that she ask for permission before including individuals names as examples. Many individuals will find this podcast easy to understand and educate them in the way the brain works. ...Read full review »
