Neurologist
I was told about Virginia Campbell's podcast when home recuperating after orthopedic surgery. I devoured them greedily and learned so much that when asked to give a lecture on current concepts to communities in my region I used them and several of her recommended books. I had a hard time choosing what to include and begged for more lecture time. They covered topics usually not included in medical CME, like consciousness, brain evolution, and neuroplasticity. It was so hard to condense my lectures. But that process, like all processes of communication from one brain to another, inspired my own brain growth. I am still traveling new paths that I began in 2008 when i first learned of Dr. Campbell's work. As I try to understand consciousness, for example, I have new awe for her incredible synthetic brain! I just listened to the lecture about glial cells and it gives me new insights into the behavior of everyday conditions such as multiple sclerosis and migraine. Thanks, Ginger!Read full review »

Many individuals will find this podcast easy to understand and educate them in the way the brain works. ...Read full review »
