I'm sitting here listening to the episode "Respect, empathy and compassion" and just feel so touched to hear these young people working through the HOW of reach people in crisis and help such people to stabilize.
I'm a "Crisis Intervention Trained" Police Officer and practice these concepts which Mireille and Adam (the podcasters) speak of. Fellow officers have asked how I'm so effective but I've had some difficulty relaying the "how" of doing what I do.
