Throughly enjoying this

Even though I am annoyed at the speed of speech and constant loud inhaling, The information is great👍

I like the short episodes and have found quite a few that I wanted to listen to but after the first two I had to stop. The narrator has a nice voice but the cadence and speed are very hard to understand. I think if she slowed down and worked on cadence/inflection she would sound really nice.

I love random facts and factoids but the delivery is absolutely horrible. This is a robot not a human being. Too many easy syntax and pronunciation errors that a person of average intelligence and familiarity with the English language would never make.

Vogelbaum’s voice is perfectly understandable and lovely. I don’t hear any biases that people talk about. Love to hear something amazing. Great job!

Interesting topics but the feed is broken.

I enjoy this podcast for its range of topics in short bites I can listen to each morning. Where did it go in March 2021? Please, Lauren Vogelbaum, check your pronunciation. Emphasis on wrong syllables, nonstandard vowel sounds, etc. undermine the authority of your claims, which may feed into...Read full review »

Listened to the one on axolotls, it was very interesting! Could someone make a link to the references for the episodes available in the show notes, though? It would be great to be able to consult the sources and read more into it. Plus it would validate the information that was given during the...Read full review »

If only all people took feedback and were able to adapt this gracefully. The gasp is gone and the knowledge is much more digestible. Well done.

The host uses a very strange cadence when she talks that I find extremely annoying. Reminds me of Captain Kirk on Star Trek, but worse. Her voice is fine, and I just wish she would talk normally! I generally get too frustrated after a single episode and have to take a break.

This used to be a cool podcast that would give lots of good information. However it has become way too politically-based and not science-based. I will miss it

A lot of ads. Doesn’t actually teach you anything or explain the details well. A lot of bias and skewing of facts.
Young Tatum via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/14/21
Am I the only person who thinks that she talks way too fast? I mean I feel exhausted just by trying to keep up listening and paying attention.

Stop the ads!

I wanted to hear about cats and dogs perception of time. Instead I got a woman in a sing song voice talking f about racial disparities.

I love the tidbits of information and the presenter does a good job. Commercials are an important part of podcasting and they are what keep these podcasts coming to us free of charge. However, with this one, it’s gotten to the point that it feels like commercials with a podcast break in between...Read full review »

Very interesting topics, but the narration is just unbearable. Listening to this podcast is as exhausting as it can get. Please work on neutral tones and please stop the sudden pauses. Unsubscribed, but will be checking once in a while.
Willchien via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 10/19/20
Content is decent and brevity is good for quick daily tidbits. However for a daily podcasts it doesn’t seem to have podcast episodes available for downloading or listening daily and they come out in chunks once or twice a week. I’m giving this one more chance before I’m done and fed up with it.

Chuck has made it ABUNDANTLY clear that he doesn’t want ANYBODY that thinks differently than him to listen to any of the shows on the network, so I unsubscribed to the entire network. He’s so ignorant that he wants to exist only in an echo chamber of his own thoughts. It’s really sad and...Read full review »

3 full minutes of adds in a 7 min podcast is too much. Like the content though.

I had to give this show up. To much liberal propaganda.
dtt202020 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/04/20
too many mistakes. the errors are forgiven up to a point. then i just can’t trust the info. i think you rushed too many times. and pronouncing the t in valet and the LL in guillotine as L instead of a Y sound, that is just lazy. i gave it a good try. i listened to a few hundred episodes. but it...Read full review »

The narration is painful. The oddly mechanically pauses and over-inflection just drove me nuts three episodes in. I subscribe to about a dozen educational podcasts but either the editing or the narration needs to be addressed. Please dial back the bizarre step ford wives delivery

I love this podcast because the episodes are short and informative, I always learn something new. It is often a great way to quickly bring myself up to date on current events and research. I also love Lauren Vogelbaum. She can teach me anything.

Journalism as a profession today is no more honorable a trade than prostitution, and quite possibly less. There is a reason why the media ranks dead last in polls on trusts worthiness. People trust politicians today more than the media. This podcast is insulting our collective intelligence by...Read full review »

This podcast is very quick and simple. I like that it gets down to the point fast and answers the question immediately. It almost feels like a infomercial. I don’t recomend to everybody.

Guys i give you one star because of the voice speed! Although you have a good material but god nows how much is this voice speed bothers me!

I love this no nonsense, quick snapshot of understanding. Feeds my curiosity, deepens my knowledge about current topics. Grateful for the female, calm-but-strong voice.

A few minutes of extremely interesting topics increases my knowledge every day. This is one of the best podcasts available.

I tried this podcast out and I thought these people were robots. Now, the reason why there is 3 stars is because there is good content. If you want a informative, fun, and best of all, a podcast without fast-talking robots, then listen to Curiosity Daily.

This is a great way to learn new things in a brief podcast. I like Lauren’s voice, she speaks clearly and there is no vocal fry which is quite common these days. I don’t understand the criticism of the way she speaks.

This show provides great content delivered in a fun and informative way. Yes, there are commercials, but you can always give them a lot of money and reduce them for all of us.

Pretend you’re talking to a friend instead of conducting a high school speech.
JazzCritic via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/28/20
The host’s voice is annoyingly robotic. You can actually hear her sharp breaths in before she starts each sentence. Great information, but I just can’t stand her voice.

Is that voice a robot or human? I get why so many reviewers compare her to Alexa. I could not get through one episode. So annoying.

I was so excited when I stumbled upon this show because the topics are very interesting and I like the bite size length of the episodes. Yes, I know her name is Lauren, but if I wanted to listen to a robotic voice I could just talk to Alexa. I’m a new listener and have listened to old and new episodes. The older hosts speaking more naturally made it a 5 star podcast. The content is still good but her delivery is horrid. Not...Read full review »

I used to put up with the absurd ad length, but now I’ve caught up and the ads plus new host have rendered this podcast an unfortunate delete for me.
