Does BBC “neutrality” mean not even challenging people anymore?
Where’s the challenge of Guto Hari’s closing assertion on todays podcast that all civil servants are crap unless they were in the army? I’m paraphrasing but he seemed to be saying that and Chris didn’t even challenge what he said!!!! Let alone his assertions that the UKs economic woes only relate to Covid. Brexit? Liz Truss anyone? For some reason the BBC on Newscast seem to think neutrality in broadcasting means not challenging people anymore. All sides represented and should be challenged robustly to evidence their views. That is genuine neutrality.

Interesting and humorous. Good balance of hard facts, balanced opinion and subtle observation.
