Questionable accuracy of events
I do enjoy this podcast but sometimes you do have to question how accurate it is. There’s always a disclaimer saying they’ve made up dialogue, which is to be expected, there’d be no programme without a healthy dollop of artistic license. The problem I have is in the final episode of each season when a first hand witness to the events, or someone who has thoroughly studied the subject, completely contradicts details that have been presented as fact. It really devalues the research standards and leaves me wondering what else has been misrepresented. Overall I enjoy Alice and Matt’s banter, it can get a bit wearing and intrusive at times, but it’s an enjoyable listen. I must confess I have been enjoying the guest presenters slightly more.
