Hugh Dennis
Hugh was brilliant in the first episode, naturally funny and perfect company for Alice. Such a great podcast series, the humour is wonderfully fresh. Matt is missed of course, and we wish him a speedy recovery x

More reviews of British Scandal
An interesting and entertaining presentation with a remarkable level of detail. Once you are accustommed to the British accents, listen closely for the asides. They're funny and clever and dry. Quite enjoyable. I'm interested to see where they go after the Litvenenko epsodes.Read full review »

Who are these naughty hosts?! The intrigue of the scandal is delicious enough. But, their poetic and comical asides and interjections are just the garnish this podcast needs. Too early for 5 stars. 4 for now. 4.5 if I could. We shall get to 5, I trust.

I know Alice Levine from ‘My Dad Wrote a Porno’ and I love the dark British sense of humour. I think when you’re covering a story where someone died an agonising death, though, it can make your listener kind of uncomfortable if you start cracking jokes about toilet u-bends and being ‘wasted’.
