The Best PLL Recap out there, hands down
I've listened to AfterBuzz's recap, which is fun but silly, with guests from the show that make it a must-listen, but it has no real depth to it. A lot of the references seem to go right over their heads, and they don't connect the dots to the past as well as they should, to be the best known of the podcasts. Meanwhile, Little Liars Podcast seem like they don't really like the show and just spend their time ripping into it. The "Bros" are funny without being condescending, and aren't afraid to point out the shortcomings of the show without seeming mean (like the "little liars podcast" often are). More importantly, unlike the AfterBuzz show, they actually pay attention to past episodes and tie things together to them, and typically catch references that the others don't. Just as importantly, they're fun. As a guy, I was a little embarassed to admit I liked "PLL" at first, but I've since come to embrace it, like a lot of other adult viewers have. This is the best podcast for those who want a serious take on the show, but not without a sense of humor about itself. I also enjoyed their "Time Travel Murder Mystery" podcast, which is what initially led me to this one. Check it out, too, if you like what you hear here. They cover a lot of other shows there as well, in their inimitable and fun style. Highly recommended!Read full review »
