“I have enjoyed a lot of these podcasts because they do not give the run-of-the-mill clichéd insights into the world of football. The guests on the whole are very intelligent too (a welcome break from Match of the Day analysis). Unfortunately however, I cannot listen to any podcast with Phil Brown. Being someone from the same city as him, and also someone who has moved overseas, I immediately saw the need to work on my accent a little in order to be understood. Phil, it seems, has not seen the need for this. Though we hail from the same place, at times even I can't understand him. That said, maybe others think it's a good accent, so I could be on my own. Anyway, I will listen to any podcast that does not have much input from him.”Read full review »
