A beautiful moment in time
This is a beautifully produced, nicely paced program of Zen practice that provides an opportunity for people not fortunate to have a zendo nearby to benefit from a funny, thoughtful, disciplined teacher. I've listened to these lessons repeatedly, and each time something new will resonate with me. I've recommended The Drinking Gourd to all my friends who have expressed a curiosity in Zen and Buddhism, though I think all spiritual paths can benefit from what is being taught here.Read full review »

I can't say enough good things about this podcast. Jay breaks things down in a very clear, understandable, an often funny way. At least, as clear as Zen can be.
