A precious gift to be shared
These talks distributed freely are a very special gift and please consider this review to be just an open thank you note. As a newcomer to Zen, I am starting to discover that Zen needs practice more than anything else. However, I am also discovering, that without guidance my practice tends to weaken and lose intensity. The best guidance comes from direct contact with the teacher. I was very fortunate to benefit from personal interviews with Jay sensei and participate in several of his talks. Being hundreds of miles away from Toledo Zen centre, I find listening to these talks on podcast to be the next best thing. Every time I listen to a mondo, there is at least one point that comes at exactly right moment to answer my trouble of the day. It gives a push when I am stuck and it adds intensity to the practice of living life itself. I am really greatful for that and I wish to all of us that more people discover this gift.Read full review »
