Compelling interviews.
This is a FABULOUS program. The host is intelligent, charming, and very skilled at his craft. His dedication to his dreams shows through in everything he does, and from what he's shared of his personal life through the show, he's sacrificed to run this show (on listener donations!) under his own power before being picked up by PRI. I'm happy for his success, but even happier that more people will discover the best kept secret in interview shows. And what a show it is. Brilliant interviews with guests that you won't find on most radio shows, all sharply edited and delivered to you weekly. I typically have never heard of TSOYA guests before the show, and they end up becoming one of my new favorite bands/comedians/authors. The man is finally going to be making a little money for the show he loves so much, and if only for that persevering spirit, he deserves your ears for at least one interview. Give the show a listen, and I guarantee you'll be saving Jesse Thorn a spot at the top of your listening list every time you synch your iPod.Read full review »

More reviews of Bullseye with Jesse Thorn
Not only does Jesse bring on interesting guests, he's also an insightful interviewer who asks questions that coax deeper answers and give a greater image of both the guest and their work. If I had to pick between Jesse Thorn or Elvis Mitchell, I'd take Jesse everytime.Read full review »

Jesse is a great interviewer, and he gets great interviewees. And he has a cute doggie!

I'm new to the Sound of Young America. I regret only just hearing it. It's quite good.Read full review »
