A death doula is a person that helps families and individuals with the process of dying, funerals, grief and more. Erin Merelli, a death doula and Lauren Carroll, a funeral director, are the co-creators of Deathwives, a training program for potential death doulas. It may not be a mental health service per se, however it is a service that can provide the prevention of certain mental anguish.
