An epic in every sense of the word.
At times you may forget you are listening to a cold war podcast as much of the early episodes deal with the end of the second world war. But of course this setup is both needed and apprieciated, giving us an incredibly deep context that sets the stage with all its actors and set pieces. If this seems tedious to you, have no fear as Cam and Ray carries us forward through the history with a great deal of laughter and jokes (not suitable for inlaws, your stuck-up boss or boring people). If nothing else excites you, at the very least you must listen to the fabulous character portrayals of Churchill, Stalin and FDR. It certainly got me hooked!

I have been a fan of Ray and Cam for a long time and have eagerly consumed their previous efforts (Life of Caesar, Life of Augustus, WW II) with relish, or...Read full review »
