My favorite history Podcast
In particular, I enjoyed episode 21 on colonization. I never realized how much Communism would appeal to former colonial subjects. The reasons are obvious, but it is hard to understand through an American irrespective. The content is often first rate and analysis spot on. The delivery isn’t perfect, but that is part of the charm and substance is chosen over style. With other broadcasts it’s the other way around. My only complaint is the several Podcasts in a row about Cold War movies. The occasional episode about a book, movie or museum is a nice break, but 4 months of it was too much. The recent episodes on the Korean War are done very well.

Come to think of it Cam is a bit like Hoges...Read full review »
